History
Through the lens of the camera or the scribe of an author, transformative thoughts and ideals are powerfully conveyed. McKPR embraces promotion of films and literature that enlighten, engage and uplift. The firm has proudly collaborated with award-winning filmmakers — like Stanley Nelson and his Firelight Media production company, promoting several of his titles, including the Emmy-winning The Murder of Emmett Till and Jonestown: The Life and Death of Peoples Temple, a documentary about the 1978 Jonestown mass suicide.
The firm has also partnered with the stellar American Experience/WGBH service to promote PBS documentaries including the coveted rebroadcast of the ground-breaking Eyes On the Prize and Eyes On the Prize II, which were re-released in 2006 and 2007, respectively.
